How To Overcome Procrastination Once and For All

Sometimes waiting till the last minute seems like the most appealing option until you realize how much you actually have to do, or it takes longer than you assumed and you miss your looming deadline… Learn to overcome procrastination and master your tasks with these three steps:

1. Recognize your emotions
Procrastination thrives when you react to your emotions, rather than facing and naming them. For instance, if you think of a work project and immediately curl up with a blanket over your head, it’s going to be that much harder to stand up and get to work.

2. Take small steps–and reward yourself for them
When you’re tackling procrastination, you’re likely changing a deeply rooted habit. Things that we’ve been doing for many years don’t happen overnight–it’s been proven that making lasting change takes both time and commitment. The best way to address procrastination: break it down. Choose one small piece of the work in front of you–and then reward yourself once it’s completed.

3. Write yourself a new script
Long-term changes begin to stick when you start to think differently. It’s likely that you have a set of thoughts that recur every time you procrastinate, making it even harder to take any action.

4 Key Tips To Becoming a Millionaire

If you have the dreams and aspirations to make it to millionaire status one day, then take a look at these 4 key pieces of advice that will have a major impact on how and how fast you reach this goal.. It’s possible and accessible with a little help a long the way from the people like, Daniel Ally, self made millionaire and Business Expert :

Save Relentlessly

This will address the queries that I’ve recently received. For many individuals, there’s too much month at the end of the money. However, you’ll have to make your best effort to save as much as you can, even if it’s a ridiculously low number.

There are many techniques for saving money. You need to find your own system and start building your wealth. Even if you’re on a fixed income, you need to find the discipline necessary to save. Whether you start out with saving $50 or $500 per month, do the best you can and invest this money in the best way possible.

Learn from Millionaires

Most people are surrounded by what I like to call “Default Friends.” These friends are acquaintances that we see at the grocery store, gym, school, work, and other places. We naturally befriend these people as trust grows. However, in most cases, these people aren’t millionaires and cannot help you become one either.

If you truly desire and aspire to be a millionaire, these people may tell you that it’s impossible. They’ll tell you that you’re living in a fantasy world and why you’ll never be able to make it happen. Instead, learn from millionaires. Let go of these relationships and seek new ones that can help you get to the next level.

Change Your Thinking

You have to see the bigger picture. When most people see just trees, you need to look at the entire forest. This way, you’ll be able to chart your own course and get to where you want to be. By having a vision and the goals to attain that vision, your possibilities are endless.

You’ll have to go through plenty of self-discovery before you earn your first million. Knowing the truth about yourself isn’t always the easiest task. Sometimes, you’ll find that you’re your biggest enemy and best friend — even in the same day! Nonetheless, changing your thinking is a requirement for wealth.

Believe It’s Possible

If you believe that it’s possible to become a millionaire, you can make it happen. However, if you’ve excluded yourself from this possibility and think that it’s for other people, you’ll never have money. Also, be sure to bless rich people when you can. Haters of money aren’t likely to receiving any of it either.

The best way to do this is to learn relentlessly about yourself and money. You can do this by reading books that have been written by millionaires themselves. By gaining a well-rounded education and staying inspired, you’ll be able to get the wealth you’ve been looking for.

How To Talk About It AND Be About It… The Key To Getting Sh*t Done

There’s nothing worse than looking back on a great idea and realizing if only you would’ve actively pursued such thing, you would probably be better off than you are now… For some reason, following through can actually be a difficult discipline to learn. Below are five tips to help you follow through on your grand ideas to lead you to success:

Accept risk.

Pursuing your idea is a lot like skydiving. You anticipate your parachute opening, but each time you jump, you accept risk — there is always that chance your chute might not open. Being an entrepreneur has many risks, including financial issues, personal relationships and even health. When you run wide-open with your idea, completely accepting the risks associated with it, you stand a much better chance of reaching the finish line.

Create a plan.

Anyone can come up with an idea and a desired goal — that’s the easy part. It’s the complete plan that allows you to get from start to finish that’s the difficult part. Write everything down and reverse-engineer a plan that will give you a legitimate shot at accomplishing your goal. Be as detailed as possible, covering every step along the way.

Constantly build momentum.

Taking your idea from concept to fully executed is an uphill journey. You have to constantly build momentum and not stop. If you do, the energy and effort required to get back up to speed will be much greater than it would have been had you kept plugging away. Even if you are working on an idea in your spare time, away from your full-time job, a consistent two hours of work daily is far more beneficial than sporadic full days dedicated to your idea.

Anticipate obstacles.

Entrepreneurship isn’t all fairytales and unicorns, regardless of what you see in the media. Insane valuations, investors fighting to get a piece and bottomless funding are very rare. Shoestring budgets, bootstrapping and constant obstacles are the reality of pursuing your idea. When you go into it expecting — and being mentally prepared — to face obstacles, you stand a much better chance of successfully dealing with them.

Set micro-goals.

Even the most treacherous journey will appear to be do-able if you break it into smaller, easier-to-digest pieces. This is where setting micro-goals can play a very crucial role in bringing your idea to life. It will not only help you make steady progress, but the satisfaction you feel when you accomplish any goal, even a micro one, will give you the motivation and fire inside to push toward the next one.

4 Ways To Commit To Your Resolution To Get Fit

It is so easy to jot down resolutions with full intention to conquer each one… but as we know it, life gets in the way of our perfect world and jobs, family, and chores all interrupt our perfect intention, making our resolution to get lean and fit seem unreachable… but have no fear! These 4 tips to help you commit to your abs of steel will make the journey easier:

1. Have a strong ‘why.’

Plain and simple- what is your reason for working out? What results do you envision? Do you want to improve your appearance, feel healthier, be better at a sport, or another reason? On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the strongest), how badly do you want it? If you’re not at a solid ’10’, dig deeper and get to the root of why you want be healthier, fitter, look better and be better. This will be the foundation as you push yourself on your lowest days.

2. The answer is ‘Yes.’

I’ll make this easy for you, when questioning whether you should hit the gym or not, the answer is ‘yes’. Working out eases most uncomfortable ailments. Tired? Exercise gives you a boost of energy. Hungover? Sweat it out. No time? 10-minute workouts are effective. Bad mood? Exercise releases endorphins. As a general rule, working out should make you feel better, not worse. Therefore, the answer is ‘no’ when you’re dealing with illness, pain, medical restrictions, doctors orders, or anything that will get worse with exercise.

3. Partner up or join a group.

There are many benefits to working out with friends or groups. A driven workout buddy provides built-in accountability, friendly competition to keep you on your toes, and some social stimulation to make time fly by. Joining an exercise group has the same benefits on a larger scale plus the group camaraderie and vibe. Some examples of group workouts that tend to offer a sense of togetherness are boot camps, spin classes, CrossFit, Roadrunners, Meetups, and most scheduled group classes that you can attend regularly.

4. Reward milestones and success.

Hard work always deserves reward. Create an awesome reward for when you hit your goal, and smaller rewards for milestones and PRs along the way. Some non-food reward recommendations include spa treatments, enjoying a night out or day off, buying something for yourself and more.
